Vehicle Detail
This is a two owner Blue plate 3.2 Porsche Carrera Targa. I bought this car from actor Robert Conrad (The Wild Wild West, Baa Baa Black Sheep) in 1988. I've been the single owner since. A rock and roll personality myself. I spent a lot of time in Europe while the Porsche stayed home covered in the garage. From the roughly 17000 sold in 1984 this is the rare Number under 1000 at #852 off the line made in Stuttgart Germany. 5.7 second 0-60146 mph the model year 1984 911 3.2 Carrera, reviving the Carrera name for the FIRST time since 1975.The new swept volume of 3164 cc was achieved using the 95 mm (3.7 in) bore (from the previous SC model) combined with the 1978 Turbo 3.3 crankshaft's 74.4 mm (2.9 in) stroke. In addition, higher domed pistons increased the compression ratio from 9.8 to 10.3:1 engine no 930/21 Engine cc 3164 HP/RPM 207 @ 5900 Production # 2260 US / Canada This Porsche is now my everyday driver today. This Porsche runs great and fast with it's original stock motor. This Porsche deserves to be restored. Here's why. Original MSRP $33,450 Low Retail $17,400 Average Retail $19,800 High Retail $26,600 Always complemented when driving it. The greatest car I've ever own. However with some care $$ from someone who wants a great classic low numbered porsche you would have your own mid to high retail Porsche with at least 6k equity.A very fun project. Here's how. I have priced this car for basic restoration. Not at the one stop shop, but through a shop here and there in order not to get over charged.Through my years of checking around I could have the bodywork, bumps and bruises (driving bra covering a dent), patch paint rear end see photo (also pealing in a few spots), the 911 infamous oil drip, A/C blower and some small things a twenty seven year old car would have (driver side seat patch) taken care of for around 5k. That would have this particular Porsche absolutely beautiful. If you indeed want to partially restore the car. Your all in price would be below low retail, the car would then be worth 5k or more than you put in. That it why I've priced it down and if that is indeed the case for you. You deserve the equity after the work. This Porsche is fairly priced for both sides.Don't forget this is my everyday driver now.For the many of you who flip, it's a perfect opportunity. If you want to restore to have the low numbered classic with equity it's perfect. This Porsche is priced to sell. My reserve is not far below the buy it now price. I'm doing this because I need to.Thank you again! Thank you!
