1983 Honda Nighthawk

This Bad Boy is ready to ride! I had the Bike out to Albin's Honda ( Potterville,MI) they replaced two head gaskets, o ring, a plug, and adjusted the cam chains. motor is in great shape, they said that down the road the Bike will need an Alternator or Stator, Part and Labor would be $215.00, I have dropped the reserve amount to reflect the $215.00 Tires alot of tread, This Bike was only made from 1982-1983 Collectors item The Speedomoter reads 80 miles try 100+ miles burried. I just put a new battery in it last Month. The back brake light only works when the hand brake is used, all the lights work including high beam and low beam and the blinkers work also, there is a little damage to the instrument panel and the seat has a few splits at the seams. The Bike Rides nice! and sounds Great! not to loud! not to quiet! I get alot of compliments on how clean the Bike is and the sound of the Exhaust Pipes. I hate to sell it, but I have dumped some money in Truck and Car repairs! UPDATE AS OF 07/24/2011 I AM NOT A MECHANIC I SPOKE TO SEVERAL GUYS AT WORK REGARDING THE ATERNATOR THEY ALL SAID THAT IT PROBABLY JUST NEEDED CLEANING OUT WITH THE LOW MILES PROBABLY OXIDAZINE! HOWEVER I AM GOING WITH THE WORST CASE SCENERIO REPLACEMENT. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS STARTING THE BIKE RIDE IT TO WORK QUIT ABIT. GETS ABOUT 50 MILES PER GALLON!
