Vehicle Detail
Selling my 2000 Land Rover Discovery. This is a great SUV and is a luxury vehicle wrapped in an indestructible body. This Rover is in good condition w/ decent mileage for its age. It comes with leather, dual moonroofs, rear jump seats, all power options, performance package, towing package, 6 disc CD changer, cassette, AM/FM, Cold A/C, heated seats, and dual power seats. The wheels and tires are in great condition and tires have over 90% of their tread left. Have all 5 matching tires and wheels and they are in tip top shape. Body of rover is a beautiful Kinversand color, which is a unique Land Rover color and is pretty rare. Body is in great shape except for a nick here or there. No rust other than a little spot on the rear step below the vehicle. Not real sure how that got rusted, but it is not part of the body of the Rover and doesnt effect it in any way. Other than that, it is very clean and the interior is fairly clean as well. The previous owner had a dog and b/c of that, you can see a few marks here and there on the leather, but overall in good shape. The headliner is a bit saggy, but is not falling down anywhere, it is just not as tight as it would be new. Most Rovers have this issue. The Rover drives very smoothly and the 4x4 works great and shifts smoothly. I have never taken it off road, but from videos that I have seen of other land rovers, they pretty much go anywhere, and they do so in style. I am selling this land rover for a great price. The NADA on this car is $5500 in just good condition. The reason I am selling so cheap is for two reasons. First I am buying another vehicle in the next few days and I already have 3 cars and this one needs to go so I am selling it at a great price. Secondly, the check engine light is on. I checked with my mechanic and he said it needed an O2 sensor. I price checked these and they are under $100 for the part and pretty easy to put in (at least for a mechanic). Anyway, I knew I was selling it when the light popped on, so I am not going to fix it, but have priced this vehicle for someone to be able to do so. It has not affected the driving of the vehicle at all. It drives very smoothly both in town and on the highway. Cruise control works great. The only other issue I know of is a fuse of some sort must be loose. Every now and then the ABS light, Downhill assistance, and Traction Control lights will randomly come on and off. I had my mechanic check the brakes and the traction control and he said they are working fine, and he said it is probably a fuse shorted out since it comes on and off randomly like that. Again, it does not affect anything about the driveability of the car and again I have priced it accordingly. Overall this vehicle is fun to drive, is very comfortable, and turns alot of heads while driving.
