The original owner lived in Santa Monica, California. The current owner purchased this 912 in 2000. Mostly sat in the garage and rarely driven up in till' 2005. The current owner had hip surgery and was unable to drive anymore. He placed it in the garage with a car covered & sat for over for 7 years, collecting dust. This is a True Southern California 912 that spent it's entire life in the Los Angeles area, with it's original Black plates. Very rare factory color is Slate Grey. Remains very much original other then one older repaint back to the factory color. Clean underneath & beautiful floor pans. Clean & original trunk compartment near spare wheel. The door jambs & inner quarter's are in great shape. A excellent example of a California Porsche. Remains mostly complete with chrome still in place. Pretty straight body other then the driver fender has minor damage. Bumper & turn signal are straight with no damage. The driver side quarter has a paint chip. Has a Minor hole near passenger side rear window & passenger fender has some bubbles near molding. Most important, floors / rockers are original & in beautiful. The interior is pretty much all original & complete. Factory gauges, seats & steering wheel in place. Interior has never been restored in stock condition. The owner stated that it was a replacement engine done long time ago from Porsche. Everything under the hood looks to be stock 912. Starts, runs, drives, brakes & shifts into all gears. Wasn't on the road since 2005 and is due for a tune up. It was a driver prior to 2005. I do have the original complete tool kit including the original 912 owner's manual. Overall, this is a original 66' California Porsche 912 that would make a great candidate for a restoration. Complete 912 with a rare factory Slate Grey color. Could be a daily driver for someone with minor work. Either you restore it or drive it around as original, it's your choice.
