Vehicle Detail

At no reserve, I have a REAL 1970 GTX! Originally our plan was to sell the front end and turn this into a Superbird clone to advertise our business. Due to the economy this is not a possibility for us any longer. So...my loss is your gain! This car is rough, incomplete, and will need MAJOR restoration work. That said, here are some awesome details about the car. First of all, it comes with a set of aftermarket quarter panel skins, which absolutely need to be intstalled. Under the hood is clean and solid, and recently refinished in the Petty blue color. The factory air grabber hood is finished in the same color on the underside. The K member is the type with the factory skid plate-I believe this skid plate only came on the Hemi and the 440 Six Pack cars. Engine is not the original 440, however it was rebuilt years ago and never started. It would be best to disassemble and check everything, although it probably would be fine as is. Car has good rubber on all four corners and the factory Magnum style wheels which were available on the GTX models. An extra package tray comes with the car as the rear window area is extremely rusted. The doors open and close fine and the rocker panels are solid. The front 2/3 of the car are basically solid. The rear 1/3 of the car is where the gross rust exists. Oddly, the trunk lid and rear frame rails are pretty nice. The 8 3/4 is in place, although there is no 3rd member or transmission (727). The side glass is in the car, but there is no front or rear glass. Please ask any questions you have and thanks for looking! This car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time. We are particularly interested in a transaction which both of us will be happy with. Therefore, we request that you ask ANY and ALL questions before bidding. Again, this is a rough and incomplete MAJOR project. We have listed it at no reserve, and please be aware the parts on this car alone are hard to find and expensive. The car must be paid in full within 5 days of the auction close. The beginning digits of the vin number are: RS23U.....
