Vehicle Detail
My poor little MR2 got wrecked last year and I just don't have the money to fix it up. I do believe it is fixable as the suspension appears to be straight and it still drives straight and corners both directions nicely. I do not guarantee anything and I suspect that it would cost way to much to have it repaired n a shop. This car should be considered as a drive train with good tires and lowered suspension. the body is trashed unless you like challenges. Motor is very strong and has never so much as hiccuped. Transmission and clutch operate perfectly, no slipping or weird noises. Lowered 2 inches, hugs the corners like crazy, very fun car to drive. Comes with F1-style body kit (damaged) - repairable - never fully installed Original Fenders and hood (damaged) - maybe repairable but probably not worth repairing Bumper and grill assembly (repairable) Spare set of bucket seats and original front springs. Currently on Non-op status (no back fees) Sticky tires are only about 5% worn, 2 years old maybe 2k miles but i think less.Click the image below to visit my picasa site to see a bunch of images and a few videos. MR2 for sale If your interested I can deliver the car and all extra parts on a flatbed trailer for $1 per mile round trip anywhere in the USA. You will be required to pay in full with cleared funds prior to departure date. For those that are interested in my story...I bought this car about 5 years ago and have been driving it often prior to the accident. Motor and tranny are very strong and I would trust it to take me cross country without any problems.I bought the wide body kit and started the install. I found out that since the car had been lowered 2 inches the body kit hit the ground going in or out of most driveways and any bumps or dips in the road. One day I put it up on a lift to repair an ebrake cable and when backing it off the lift it ripped the nose piece off the car.So I removed the kit and put back on the original pieces, started the body work to prep for paint.Whammo, crashed, the front end was pushed over 3 inches, maybe more. I would buy another MR2 with a bad engine and swap this stuff into it but I came across a nice Supra and well, it's taking all my time.
