Up for sake is my 1979 MGB with 103060 miles (3060 showing) This car has been in the Southwest for all it's life therefore NO RUST ISSUES. The car was repainted about 10 years ago and is in good condition (One flaw as shown) The engine was also rebuilt about the same time. I did not receive any paper work when I bought the car about 6 years ago on the rebuilding of the engine. The engine runs strong and the trans shifts like it should. Good oil pressure and the temp says where they should be even on the 90-100+ days. Normal oil leaks for a car of this age. The car is stored in the winter, as we winter in Southern Texas, and is driven in the Albuquerque New Mexico area during the summer. The car has not presented any problems during these summers. I did have to adjust the carb for the 5000' altitude here in ABQ. The interior is in pretty good condition (drivers seat as show in photo, 2 cracks on the dash) The top is in good condition with 2 2" cuts on each side by the back side panels (typical) witch could easily be repaired. I haven't as the top is always down in ABQ. The plastic windows are clear. I put 4 new tires on the car and they have about 1000 miles on them. The windshield has no cracks or stone chips and is clear. The reason I am giving up this car is two fold. First as I am getting older I am finding it harder to enter and exit the drivers seat. Secondly I have purchased an older Mustang convertable and something needs to go to keep peace in the family. I have had a TF for 10 years and this MGB for 6 years and they have been wonderfull cars to own and drive and I am going to miss driving this MG. It has been a real good car over the past 6 years. I feel the reserve is reasonable for the condition of this car and I have put a "Buy it now price" that I can live with and hope that you will find it a fair price for a car in this condition.
