Up For Auction For 3 Days With No ReserveOver 60 Detail photos Below This is an all original & well documented 1982 Cadillac Eldorado Coupe. Only to be owned & registered by the original owner. It was special ordered & delivered on 4/23/82. Purchased new at "Martin Cadillac" in West Los Angeles, California. Miles upon delivery were 22 miles in total, as shown on the odometer mileage statement. The original owner Robert Howard, lived in Northridge,CA. He took care of this Cadillac and it was always garaged kept. All the miles are documented thru hand written notes by the original owner of the service. It was not his everyday driver but his enjoyment. Earlier in 2011, Mr. Howard was ill sick. He stop driving a few years earlier & the Coupe was still covered in his garage in Northridge. His oldest son mention to me, even though his dad knew his time was almost up, he still wanted the Cadillac the air condition to be serviced. It was not just a car to the owner but it was his pride & joy. Remains all original with only 73k documented mileage. Factory HT 4100 Digital Fuel Injection V8. I found this letter in the glove box dated July 29 of 1982, about three months after purchase. Letter stating that the dealer had fix a dent in the upper left door & the paint did not quite match. A list of little problems the letter talked about. Overall, it's pretty much original & was well maintained over the years. California car with a clean underneath. Original California Blue plates with Dealer license frame plates. Original paint other then the upper driver door done after delivery. Trunk is all original including spare & GM mat. All the chrome is in good shape being it was garage kept most of it's life. The original bumper fillers are faded & cracked. The driver side bumper filling has has a hole in it. I did find a complete set online for $300, plus you would need to paint them. The interior is 100% stock. The owner's son mention that his dad would never close the doors all the way as it crush the weatherstripping. Towels covered the seats in the summer not to fade the leather. His dad took well care of it. It does show wear but it is close to 30 years old.Under the hood is complete stock & original. Never been modified or taken apart.The 4100 V8 is running & driving just fine. Smooth on the freeway & shifts into all gears. Can be driven anywhere since it has only 73K documented miles. Brakes are in good shape. Does not overheat & is a dependable driver. The level ride light comes on once & a while. The gas gauge is off a bit but it has been since new as explained in the letter. Tires are practically new and in good shape. All the gauges work & power antenna as well as lights. The A/C works but needs to be charged. Would make a great driver for someone. Not a restored or prefect Cadillac. It's original with.Overall, this is a well kept 1982 Cadillac Eldorado to be only owned by the original owner.
