I've sold many Volvo's over the years. I LOVE the high milers....as I always tell the skeptics: there's a reason it made it to where it is! All vehicles are designed to run for hundreds of thousands of miles....but it's all based on the owner and their maintenance habits. Honestly....I've had more headaches with average mile cars over the years. Money pits. I personally drive a 220k mile 98 S70! This car is no exception of Volvo purity! Al-tho I can't verify its history, it seems to have lived at the Volvo Dealership! Volvo spark plugs in it still, Volvo battery, Volvo timing belt (inspected and seems to have been replaced once in it's life), Michelin tires, even pulled off Volvo brake pads!...all signs of Volvo history!! Please inspect the 30+ pics and descriptions below. I've personally logged over 300miles on this car with no problems. I make all the vehicles I sell roadworthy, for anyone and everyone, the best I can. I don't know the buyer's knowledge or location, so it has to be ready. I'd let my mother drive this car! BID, BUY, AND DRIVE ANYWHERE WITH 100% CONFIDENCE! Hi. Above you can see the nice condition Michelin tires (nearly new on the left front-rears are halfway used). Hood and bumper cover have the typical (touched up) rock chips but no damages. Left front driving lamp lens is chipped. Right side is missing but the wiring is still there ready to plug into a replacement piece when you are ready. I've installed new front brakes and will be performing the rears this week. No problems just worn thin and time to replace. Car drives straight and smooth with no excessive pulling, wandering or suspension/drivetrain noises. Air Conditioning blows ICE COLD. Transmission shifts properly with no issues. One of 2 exterior complaints that I have....below you can see the damaged rim. It was on front but will be rotated to the rear for safety. It doesn't vibrate or leak air. Just an eyesore. The spare is a full sized rim from a V70 GLT....6 spoke but not matching the XC rim. I thought about rotating it, but would drive me nuts not having a matching set of wheels. I left it as a spare. Exterior is super straight with no signs of body work. I can count on one hand how many dings there are. Rear bumper cover is nice. I don't know why I didn't touch up the right lower corner, but I assure you it's done now.The second of the 2 complaints is on the tailgate. It's minor but me being picky. The hatch door looks to have hit something on it's way up. A few vertical scratches and pushed-in a hair. Can't tell unless you look from the side, but I disclose everything I can. I only caught it because the rear latch didn't latch tight. I have to adjust the lock but no worries. It's quite common from use anyway. Just an FYI. Interior is super nice...easily a 9 out of 10! Driver's bolster is excellent and the leather shows no damages. Carpet is decently clean and everything power works. DON'T FORGET THE ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING AND POWER SUNROOF for your trip home! Heated seats for the winter time too! All the dummy lights illuminate upon startup as they should. None on during run. All factory floormats included, sorry only one key. No key-fobs or manuals. Even has cupholders intact! Here's my favorite part of this high miler....the engine compartment!! So clean, you can eat off it!! Seriously....it's so nice to see a well cared for vehicle these days with so many people driving their cars into the ground. When I got this car as a trade-in from a local Volvo dealership(Volvo/Honda of Lisle), the "ETS" light was on. The throttle was messing up but very typical on the 99-up S/V70 series cars. So much that Volvo of America upped the warranty to 200k miles and 2010. It's 2011 as you know and I had to fix it myself. Replaced the damaged throttle body (some hack "mechanic" had already been inside it foolin around) and it runs great! Volvo states you need to "update" the computer to latest specs so it will learn the different throttle body properly. You can tell it's quite sensitive and powerful. I'd personally just leave it alone, but if you want it perfect, hit your local Volvo for the update.As stated the car has been inspected by yours truly. Proper repairs and maintenance have been made. The ONLY item left to address....it has a minor oil leak. This also is very typical with any of the turbo S/V70 series cars....only the AWD units are a bit more difficult to fix due to the differential unit to the rear being in the way. I simply didn't have the time or the lil Torx tool to fit properly. It's a half hour repair with any competent mechanic. The turbo O-Rings dry-rot and leak. I have the 2 Volvo issued O-rings (replaced them many-a-time on the FWD turbos) that I will include with is car at no cost to the buyer. These are the actual parts, not aftermarket rings, so perfect seal will be made. It's not a horrible leak but you don't want to be parking it on your new concrete driveway! In fact, it's very random as it didn't leak any spots on my shop floor when I had it in last. No other coolant or fluid leaks are noticeable on this car. No worries!
