Very cool, very well-built coupe. Modeled after Shelby's GT350, this car was built with SCCA Group 2 Trans Am features of the late 60's. From the side marker and back-up light block offs to the radio delete plate this car has the soul of a vintage racer. The grill has factory fog lamps and metal mesh installed over it and the R style opening in the lower valance. This is another really neat touch[one of many] that says vintage race. The door jam wears a Shelby American tag as the original Shelbys did. Built right with a Mexican block (HiPo Main Caps), REAL Hi-Po K Heads, Solid Lifters, Factory FORD Lettered Aluminum Intake, HiPo Balancer, HiPo Alternator Pulley and many other nice pieces. The engine sounds excellent and just feels good! The steering has been upgraded with a Total Control Rack & Pinion, the steering is nice & tight. The suspension has been upgraded with a Larger Front Sway Bar, 3/4" Rear Sway Bar, Stiffer Front Srings, KYB Shocks and performance bushings. Out back the factory 8" was replaced with a 9" 3.25 Ratio Rear Differential. The car also features factory front disc brakes. This car is very solid with excellent floors, frame rails and torque boxes. We cleaned the floors & found a small amount of rust on the drivers rear floor. Only a few minor bubbles, otherwise a very good car. The paint is marginal but the body is straight. Inside the interior is in great condition. New carpet and trim. Corbeau seats hold you in place very comfortably. The dash has been restored with a new dash pad, instrument bezel with lenses and dash panels. A 2-point roll bar adds to the vintage race feel. Old School Sun Super Tach has been mounted under the dash and is still functional! Radio Delete Plate! Glove Box mounted electric trunk release!
