This truck is in top shape for being nearly 20 years old, but here are the minimal issues I know about: -Outside: The truck has never been in an accident & the only body issues are: 1) back bumper on the drivers side has a small dent/scratch as shown in the picture & looks like someone may have backed into a rock or something, and 2) When I first purchased it and took it to the dealer when I got it back there was a crease on the passenger side door (it looked like they opened it up and banged into a pole/post). It wasn’t really bad, but I was really pissed and tried to push the dent back out from the inside without luck. In my frustration and acting like a teenager (instead of waiting until I could take it back in) I banged on it from the inside with a small hammer expecting it to pop out, but it left some small star shaped dents instead on the outside of the door (just like you see on the picture). Some small areas of paint flaked off although it has been like you see it for over 6 years and hasn’t gotten any worse. It is one of those things most people aren’t really concerned about, but I get pissed off every time I see it. 3) The paint on the hood and some on the top are finally starting to oxidize although overall the paint is in real good shape. 4) Some of the black vinyl molding color is wearing off and I use a black sharpe to touch it up. 5) There are numerous small pin head size paint chips on the hood above the grill wear sand/rocks have hit over the years. I have used touch up paint on many, but there are more to be fixed if you get a little paint from the dealer. Inside issueS: The vinyl is worn in some places and I’ve cleaned it best I could, but it’s natural changes over 20 years. There is a small area in the back inside panel where my kids pushed it in a little although it is a minimal issue as shown in the photos. The overdrive light is burned out and sometimes the 4X4 light flicks off and on while in 4X4, but this is minimal. There is one small 3/8 tear in the ceiling panel over the passenger side back seat as shown in the pictures. Overall the inside looks like it is 3-4 years old and is in great shape. The ceiling panel is in very good shape and staying up nicely. -Mechanical- I don’t know of any mechanical issues and the truck runs very well. It gets about 16-17 mpg on the highway. There is an intermittent squeak somewhere that can drive me crazy because I can’t find it. All the rubber molding in the engine compartment and around all parts is in good condition, so it is not that. Every now and then the truck will run rough like I’m running out of fuel and I will have to put a gas conditioner in it and fill it with premium. It runs well after that so I think this may be due to ethanol in the gas and not driving it every day. There is no smoke from the exhaust and the exhaust system, muffler, converter are all in good shape. THESE VEHICLES ARE CLASSIC WORK HORSES & LAST WELL INTO THE 250k MILE RANGE. I HATE TO GET RID OF IT, BUT I’M DOING THE DAVE RAMSEY THING OF PAYING OFF ALL ARE DEBT. I CAN ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS; PLEASE CONTACT ME AT EDCARVER4@YAHOO.COM OR ANY ISSUES, BUT PLEASE DON’T TRY TO BUY IT OUTSIDE EBAY. I HAVE A GOOD RATINGS RECORD AND I’M NOT INTO RIPPING PEOPLE OFF. I MAY BE ABLE TO ARRANGE DRIVING IT TO YOU FOR MINIMAL COST IF YOU AREN'T FAR AWAY. CONTACT ME FOR OPTIONS. PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU AREN'T SERIOUS. THANKS, ED
