Had last sale canceled by Ebay due to a fraudulent buyer. Sorry to everyone who had either put a bid in or were watching this item. You won't have to spend a fortune fixing up an old Jeep because I already have. 4 speed, straight 6. I believe the miles to be accurate as brake and clutch pedal seem to be original and the compression tests shows each cylinder to be within 5 lbs. of each other and almost at specs for a new motor. As you can see, there is a file an inch thick with everything that has been done to the jeep. New brakes, rotors, calipers, upper and lower ball joints, wheel seels, center link and axle joints, starter, battery, clutch and flywheel have all been replaced within the last twelve months. Tires are new with less than 500 miles on them. The is also a new stereo that was installed about 4 months ago. Rhino liner inside as well as spray on liner on undercarriage. I'm not saying this is show quality and there are the normal rock chips, small scratches, etc. but I don't think you will find many Jeeps of this age in this condition and we get comments on it everywhere we go. Mechanically, this jeep is outstanding. I'm not sure there is much more to replace. Please remember that in 1981 the speed limit was 55 and this Jeep is geared accordingly.
