Vehicle Detail
1993 F150 4x4 EXT.CAB Low Mileage Cream-Puff! Runs Like a Top! RE-LISTED DUE TO NO-SHOW BUYER. This 1993 Ford F150 4x4 Pickup is a Heavy Half-Ton SuperCab Long Bed. It has just over 76,600 miles (CarFax certified) and runs accordingly, by which I mean it starts immediately, runs and drives smoothly, shifts into all gears nicely, and the 4x4 works as it should. It is loaded with options: air conditioning, power locks & windows, tilt wheel, power steering and power brakes, front bucket seats with armrests, and a full bench seat in the rear of the cab. The cruise control does not operate; it needs a new control module. This pickup also has a color-coordinated full bed cap that features screens, sliding windows and a lockable rear hatch. It is water-tight. Also present are a heavy duty receiver hitch and a multi-prong power outlet below the chrome rear bumper. The front bumper features a bright chrome grill guard and fog lamps. The fog lamps are controlled by a lighted switch on the lower dash. The dash has no rips, tears or wrinkles, as the pickup was routinely garage-kept. The seats are free of stains and do not show heavy wear. This truck looks and runs good. The frame and body are tight, although there is some minor bubbling on the rocker panels and lower cab corners, but nothing serious. There are some minor dents on the bed rails but, overall, this truck is visibly free from defects. You can get in and go almost anywhere. It's a great value for the money. It is powered by a 302-cubic inch V8 that gets 16-18 mpg on the highway. It is the smoothest-running/riding pickup I have ever owned; it handles very well, with no wobbles, steers straight, and the suspension gives the driver and his occupants a surprisingly smooth ride -- much better than my '97 F250 shortbed. The automatic transmission is trouble-free. The tires meet the manufacturer's recommendations. They are Uniroyal 235/75/15, load range E, and have good tread remaining. This truck, with its extended cab and long bed, provides a perfect platform for comfortable towing. I use it to tow my classic '54 pickup on my steel-decked trailer. While it appears to have had several owners, the truck was apparently owned by one business that simply changed owners multiple times, with the truck staying with the business. It was never abused, a fact proved clearly by its condition and performance. It does have a Salvage Rebuilt Title, but that is because it was stolen and the insurance company settled prior to its recovery. The thieves broke a vent window, which was since replaced, and used a spare set of keys to drive it away. It now has new door locks and a new ignition cylinder, because the original keys were not recovered. The Buy-It-Now Price is well below NADA retail average. The reserve (don't ask) is even lower. Shipping is at buyer's expense but I will work with your transporter. This really nice and solid F150 4x4 is sold As-Is, Where-Is. I do not offer any guarantees or warranties. But I would not hesitate to drive it across the country -- it's a great truck with lots of good years left. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required via PayPal within 24 hours of auction's end. Payment in full within seven days via bank wire transfer, certified cashier's check or personal check. Truck released for transport only after payment clears and my bank.
