This Panel truck was originally bought in Dunsmire CA and was used for a carpet cleaning buisness. The first owner died and the truck was bought by a local guy who had it for a couple months at most and then sold it to me. It had only around 60,000 miles on it when I purchased it and I have put about 40,000 on it over the last 8 years. 1966 1 ton Chevy Panel Truck. 10 foot bed, original wood (solid) Dealer installed 283 V8 rebuilt once in the late 70's.( runs strong) 4 on the floor, running a 1972 blazer 1/2 ton rear end with 3.08 gears. Original 2 barrell carb. rebuilt a few years ago, K&N air filter, Petronix ignition, Accell coil and wires, dual high temp paint turbo exaust. Newer- high flow water pump, fuel pump, altenator, master cylinder, and power brake booster. New tail lights, horn wiring harness, undercoated, front tires 80% back 30% Oil filter converted to modern disposable type. Everything works except the fuel gauge. Front driver and passenger floors have rust issues. It has been killed but will need to be replaced eventually. The picture of the floor is the passenger side, the drivers side is not as severe with no holes in the floor. Most of the rest of the truck is rust free. (second rust picture is the worst rust on the truck) Some small dings and blemishes, its not perfect. Paint is splotchy. It has been a once or twice a week driver,good mover, hauler. I often drive it around 20-30 miles when I take it out. I have not had it on a longer drive in a few years and unless you live within a couple hours drive I would suggest getting it shipped. Comes with 67 bench seat for back, two extra back wheels, shop manuals, original owners manual, protecto-plate option sheet and other papers. It could be a great advertisement, hauler, definently rare if you need some attention this is the getter for you!
