this is the 3rd time im listing this FJ......the first time the buyer was not serious and never called me.......second time i missed my reserve by $100.......so here it is again , and this time it will sell!.......HAPPY BIDDING!!! .The FJ has a 1972 inline 6 1F engine which sound and runs great.... It has a 3 speed on the floor (was changed from the original 3 on the colum...colum still has the opening for the shifter )...new steering damper shock ,new brake master cylinder , new clutch master and slave and new clutch lines, new accelerator cable , rebuilt edelbrok carb, all from S.O.R recently installed...also new exhaust system with cherry bomb pipes , all wheel cylinders and shoes was done recently too.... the engine is very strong (just changed the oil )and this rig runs awesome...I also have a new hand brake cable that will be included with the saleThis model has a unique tail gate that is a fold up style with 2 swinging barn doors that was only around for a few yrs...I believe just on the 63/64/65 FJ 40's the body is solid.... has all the correct divot lines along the rear panel and doors.. very solid and original , however the rear sills and left running board have rust but thats about it.....I've learned from another FJ forum that the 1963/64/65 used a treated metal and is not prone to rusting like the 1966 thru 1982. The hinges and hardware are solid with minimal to very minimal RUST..the color is a repaint from the 90's and its starting to chip and peel in various spots but all in all its not bad...the original color was a pale off white... the color is now a dark green. ....interior was reupholstered with new seat covers and new seat foam from S.O.R...a shade of dark grey , the seat frames was repainted black and is in great condition ...also has a ConFerr rear black leather bench seat with tool box style bottom, although I CAN'T GET IT TO OPEN....however still very collectible and expensive too.... it has the removable hard top with the fiberglass dome(needs a headliner). also has tubular roll bars from a late model toyota.... This rig gets lots of attention and is really sweet. No reserve Good Luck Bidding!!!
