1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible Survivor Loaded Up for sale is my 1975 Buick LeSabre Custom Convertible in amazing survivor condition. A garage queen, original paint (black), interior (red) and convertible top (white). 46,000 original miles. Original paperwork including bill of sale, Buick manuals, dealer keychain, and even the factory chassis manual. I am sure the build sheet is in the car wherever they put them. There is no rust on this car. The chrome is like brand new. No cracks in the dash, seats, door panels - just an amazingly well preserved beauty. This car has always been garaged. It was ordered by a woman golf pro (Miss Jan xxxxxx) (Let me clarify - her FIRST name was Jan, she wasn't "Miss January.") from Swanberg-Scheffe Buick in Minnesota (I know what you’re thinking – no, never driven in the winter on salty roads). I would venture to say this car was ordered with every option except for two I know of, the 455 engine option, and the fuel economy meter thingy that was on the instrument panel. It has the following equipment and options, pretty impressive for it’s day, $9000 was a ton of money in 1975, and more than most Cadillacs and Lincolns: · 350 4BBL V-8 · Tinted Glass · Buick Rally Wheels (FIVE not Four –the HR-78-15 Radial spare has never been out of the car and has the original tire) (I also have a fifth NOS center cap) · Power Top · Power Antenna · Power Windows · Power Locks · Tilt Wheel · Cornering Lights · Light up make up mirror · AM FM Eight Track (in the trunk) (the car now has a Custom Autosound Buick radio with I-Pod adapter) · Light package (Door courtesy lights, trunk light, underdash light, glove box, ashtray – a bulbfest) · Power trunk deck lid and courtesy light in the trunk· Bumper guard delete (thank god – no ugly “cop car” bumper guards) · Hood ornament · Split power seats, both sides · Air conditioning · Cruise Control · Speed Minder · Resettable Odometer · Bodyside moldings · Larger stainless rocker moldings (really sets off the car in black) Also has the "litter container" option (the little container on the corner of the passenger kick panel, climate control air conditioning (there were two variations on this) Car has four new Monroe SensaTrac shocks and I replaced the rear coil springs with correct ones as the springs in these big GM cars sag over time; has embroidered Buick tri-shield logo floor mats which are an exact match to the original carpeting (which is still the original carpeting!) And two real unusual dealer-installed options: · Chrome trailer hitch (never used) · Plexiglas bug deflector (I removed it but it comes with the car) I am having some service work done to the car right now to really dial it in: · Original exhaust system will be replaced (yup, they don't make them like they used to) · Tune up (original plugs and wires will be put aside and come with the car; correct replacements will be installed) · Water pump (not gone yet, but soon) Tires are like new. I don’t have the time to enjoy this car and someone else who will treasure it should add it to their collection. This is an amazing car and amidst the sea of fake Chevelle SS's and other stuff at the clonefest car shows, this car really stands out.
