This VTX was built in Marysville, Ohio. It is in excellent condition, with oil changes with GTX 10 w40 motorcycle oil every 2500 miles.Uses and leaks NO oil. The rear end, brake and clutch fluid is changed, also. The rear tire is a new Avon with new brakes, front tire is very good and includes a spare, if wanted. Has new highway bars, with new cruising pegs. Has factory windshield with extra factory larger windshield. The jardine exhaust system has a deep rumble with acceleration, but is quiet at cruise, with baffle. Comes with extras. Back seat is extremely comfortable, with passenger floorboards and a great backrest. Rider seat is also great with the higher, laid back bars and backrest and a choice of foot pegs or highway pegs while cruising. We hit top end speed once, when a late model Goldwing whooshed by us at about a hundred on the interstate. We were 2 up and he was solo. We caught him and, were both wide open, and passed him just under 130. At 138 we were about ten bike lengths ahead and let off. He went by with a big grin and a thumbs up. The bike was very stable. These bikes break in and fuel mileage increases at about 20,000 miles. The only thing they need, besides tires and oil changes and brakes. These bikes will, like the goldwing, reach over 200,000 miles. Oil stays clear.....Bike is fuel injected and starts instantly, hot or cold. Rides very smoothly over bumps. No jolts. Corners very well, with no wallowing on bumpy turns. Handles very well in the twisties and nothing contacts pavement. Great ground clearance. Trunk can be removed with four bolts. Seat can be changed quickly to solo. Factory windshields have quick change feature. In April I road non-stop from New Orleans to Jacksonville Florida with no sore butt or back. Return trip, ditto. Only stops were for fuel. 150 miles per fuel stop. Has low fuel warning light. Holds 4.5 gallons. Normally took 3 and half gallons. This bike runs and rides like new. Have stock handle bars if you like more reach. Bike was built on same assembly line as Goldwing. I've owned a Roadstar and a Vulcan and they fall short in all catagories. The VTX is best, by far. Has three piston front calipers, and one is activated when rear brake is applied. Othe 2 engage with front brake lever. Stops as good as it accelerates. The buyer will not be dissapointed. Will get 100% bike for 30 cents on the dollar, plus add-ons. I've been using eBay since 1999 and my feedback tells it all. All buyers have been happy with their purchase. Most of the miles are on the interstate on long trips.....therefore the engine, trans and rear end will spec as new. All else is tight and excellent. Very tight bike with engine and transmission perfect. I have a bad left knee and do not ride but maybe a hundred miles a month, now days. Averages about 35 MPG. We also have the bike trailor, which is a converted car dolly, to tow behind our motorhome. Tows perfectly, even with heavy cross winds or uneven pavement. Loads very quickly and is heavy duty. Has LED tail and stop lights with brand new heavy duty tires and wheels. Tires call for 50 PSI, cold. Obviously has heavy tongue weight with VTX on it, so at least needs a pickup truck or SUV to tow bike and or car. Perfect for Motorhome.
