I am selling my Saab because it is loosing antifreeze. My daughter whose in college drives this car everyday, but we have to add antifreeze about twice a week. We had it checked out and the mechanic says that water is leaking into the combustion chamber, causing the engine to idle rough and then burning off after warming up. (i.e. head gasket leak) otherwise, the car is in great shape inside and out, it drives and handles very well. The timing chain broke on the original engine so I had a used engine installed (47000 miles) will all of the trimmings at 117969 miles on Jan, 2009 over a $4500 investment. This time, I decided not to get the car repaired, (got a new car) so I am selling this one as is with no warranty or return, My loss your gain, The tires only have about 6000 miles on them, The radiator and hoses were changed last summer as well as a complete tune up. The heater and a/c works well The seats and interior is in good shape The driver side air vent temperature control valve is broken The driver side sun visor is broken The hood shocks needs to be replaced Everything else works. You can still drive it away and keep filling it up until repaired! Too good to part out! I still like this car and think it would make a great first car project for someone, especially if the repair could be done yourself. If I don't get a decent offer I am considering parting it out.
