Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is this beautiful rear Mopar out of Washington State. Car was built February 3rd 1967 in Detroit, MI, and originally sold to a gentleman who was the Mayor of a small coastal community on the Pacific Coast. Many years later it ended up in Idaho where I bought it from the 3rd owner. The car has been cared for all its life instead of being fixed up, and is currently showing 112000 miles. According to the previous owner the 440 CID engine and brakes had been gone through in the 90's. The Torqueflite automatic transmission is still bullet proof, so mechanically this car is very strong. In the last few years I've had this car repainted in its original Haze Green. The upholstery was worn and started to crack, so I had it reupholstered in the original pattern. All 4 hubcaps were disassembled repainted and put back to its original glory. There are absolutely no rust issues, as this is a solid Western car. Everything looks very nice, and it is ready to go to the local car show, or a cruise down memory lane. Only 3235 copies were ever made of this sleek 2 door hardtop Coupe, and I cannot imagine more than maybe a couple of hundred left today in various conditions. To find one in this well-kept condition for this low reserve price will be very difficult. This is however NOT a 100 point car having received a full restoration, but rather a well-kept ORIGINAL with a partial restoration. This car is fully loaded with PS, PW, PB, Power Antenna, AC, Cruise Control, Automatic Dimmer, Tilt & Telescope steering wheel etc. AC needs recharge, it needs a turn signal switch, right rear window stopped working (have spare window motor in working condition included), and it (possibly) needs a seat relay for the driver's seat. These are petty items which sooner or later need to be replaced on any old car. Consider therefore that the BIG stuff has been taken care of, and at your own leisure you can take care of the small details. Take advantage of this opportunity, as these cars are still underappreciated and only can go up in value in the years to come.
