1983 300D WITH SOLID FLOOR AND JACKPOINTS I purchased this car back in March of last year from an owner in PA who puchased it from a fella in Boston and my intentions were to use it as a daily driver. Recently my financial situation has changed and makes it impossible for me to add another vehicle along with the three cars my wife and I currently have. The car drives very nicely and is solid in the floors and jackpoints which is rare for a car this age, and an East Coast car to begin with. I was told that it was repainted about 8yrs ago and its a good job but not perfect. The previous owner recently did new glow plugs, new water pump, new thermostat & gasket, tires are at 90% and Pirellis, shocks are recent and the brakes were done. From what I understand the previous owner was a fanactic about car maintenance. From looking under the hood I see what he had done. I will include another set of Mercedes Bundt rims which were recently redone that have brand new Kumho Solus tires on them. The hood had one rust spot in the leading edge but over all the car is remarkable solid. The power windows, door locks, sunroof, radio and power antenna all work, however the A/C is not working as there is no belt on the compressor and I never too the time to find out why.
