Vehicle Detail

This is a nice 1957 Belair sedan from Iowa with the correct 283 V8 with the extra-cost 1957 TurboGlide transmission and factory duals. I have had the car almost eight years now and have gathered some included goodies described below. I was told by the previous owner that the engine and transmission were rebuilt in 1998, and it seems to be so. It runs and shifts very well with no smoking or unusual sounds. The body was stripped at that time for a re-paint, and no damage was found or any body work was required. He said the car was white with a red interior when he got it, but he changed it over to black on black. A new custom interior was professionally done, including matching headliner and new carpet. It is all in great condition. The paint is mighty fine, and I only found one chip when I dusted it off for the pictures. There are no dents in the body. The wind was blowing needles around as I took the pictures. Any unusual reflections in the paint are just that, reflections. There is a blemish on the trunk at the back in the paint. The car is not perfect and is about 54 years old. There is two small bumps in the stainless on top of the back drivers fender, and I tried to get a picture. All the stainless was polished while the painting was being done, so it is nice. There is a paint bubble on the top drivers front, possibly from poor preparation since the top is solid (see picture). Due to a bad window seal, there is a bubble in the passenger rear door. The cars drives tight and solid, but you must supply arm and leg power since they are standard brakes and steering. I have the original wheels and spinner hubcaps in great condition, but no tires for them. I will include: New window seals still in the box. New windshield and back window rubbers. New power disc brake changeover with slotted rotors, brake line, pads, and calipers (rebuilt). New power steering assist changeover, no cutting of shaft or changing of steering box required. New hood bar and ends, along with a very nice used light bar. New front bumper still in the boxes, since the original ends have scratches in them. I paid more for the car by itself, let alone the parts I am adding. Thanks for looking.
