Vehicle Detail

For sale is this 1970 Plymouth Satellite 4 door with the factory 318, automatic trans and the complete AC system. The odometer works and shows 39000+ miles, it has clicked over at least once. This is a garage kept, unmolested, original car that has been constantly driven over the years: they say a rolling stone gathers no moss, and that can be said of this classic. It even has the original paint, besides the replaced (& rust free) trunk lid. Im not certain about the cars entire history but I know enough about A-B body Mopars that you dont find vintage rides THIS clean, even 4drs. Some of you might say: GREAT PARTS CAR! Well, I would agree, if you are fixing a 70 Roadrunner or GTX you would be hard pressed to find better sheetmetal. On the other hand this vehicle is extremely driveable: it starts right up with no smoke or knock, it shifts well, stops evenly and rides very smooth. Its comfortable inside with plush, re-upholstered seats front and back, fresh custom fit vinyl flooring from ACC and a new headliner. To sum it up you have a clean, classic, unmolested car, with the original paint that runs fantasic and is comfortable to drive and ride in. I want to describe everything I can think of to help you make your decision to own this ride, if I missed anything please feel free to ask: It has a clean, undented, rust free bumper with decent chrome & undamaged rubber mouldings. The grille is uncracked, the grille mouldings are very nice, some have slight damage, but not bad, the lower grille insert is also nice. The hood has no rust inside and no dents outside, a factory hood pad & the hood lip moulding is perfect. The passenger side fender has a small dent at the front just above the bumper and a light scrape on the side. The drivers side fender is perfect. All body side moulding is in perfect, undented, undamaged condition with no screws holding them on, just the factory clips, as original. All 4 wheel well mouldings are intact, not perfect but very nice. The radiator is solid, original and doesnt leak, heat works just fine, no core leaks. The air conditioning system is complete and sealed but doesnt work, I have not tried to charge it. The 3 speed windshield wipers work great in all speeds and they have new blades. It has working power steering. Battery is good and the tray isnt rusted out or rusted underneath. The brakes all work great with a new master cylinder, no line issues and no leaks. Rebuilt 2 barrel carberator. I added an aftermarket beep beep horn, sorry I couldnt resist, but you can have the 2 working originals. Complete, unmolested engine compartment without the typical rust around the edges & hinges. All 4 doors are straight, no rust at the bottoms, no rust or flop in the hinges, inc the drivers door. All glass is intact, crack free, windows roll up and down with no issues. The dashboard is complete and looking good. The original AM radio works but needs a new speaker. Factory green steering wheel has several cracks but the horn button works and looks good. Glovebox is intact. Front and back seat have been re-upholstered to appear original, seat foam is excellent with great springs, no sag. Headrests are from a 1969 model but match and are nice, not 100% but nice. Factory date coded seatbelts are working & clean: In the front you get 3 lap belts and 2 shoulder belts, Back you get 3 sets of lap belts. New pro installed ACC, Auto Custom Carpet, moulded vinyl floor. Door panels are original and clean with no rips or discoloration, you get 4 good arm rests as well. Headliner was recently replaced by a professional & done with original material: its tight & looks great! (clean original package tray as well) Trunk lid was replaced with a green lid that has no rust or dents (also an original mopar color) Tail lights are flawless with pit free chrome and no cracks in the lenses. All tail light and trunk lid mouldings are perfectly straight. There is some surface rust on the tail panel but this is not rust through. Drivers side quarter panel is very straight, no rust out. Passenger side will need some lower 1/4 metal but neither side will need the inner trunk or wheel well extentions. Trunk pan IS NOT BAD! Its pretty typical for water to collect there so holes do & have formed, but there is nothing big enough for a ping pong ball to fall out of: more like a marble. You get the complete jack assembly with 15" spare & correct lug wrench. Great exaust system, no leaks. Matching set of balanced Uniroyal blackwall, cop car tires mounted on a set of factory Mopar 15X6 1/2" wheels. (I can supply the original 14X5.5" steel wheels if you want them. Gas tank is clean and straight. No rust in the frame, ANYWHERE, this car got a good layer of undercoating from the factory. Rear bumper is clean and straight with decent chrome. All lights, turn signals, brake lights, etc work fantastic! Clean, clear, VA title and bill of sale go with the car. This car has been a great daily driver, its fun to drive because of the smooth ride, the peppy engine and the fact it is so reliable. I have gone as far as I can go with the car. Paint is expensive where I live and its hard to locate somebody honest and reliable, besides, if I got it painted you would want it for parts or It would have been the wrong color! I have done everything the car needs BUT paint. You can finish it up the way you want and enjoy it until you do. As far as bidding is concerned you must have a Paypal account to bid as I require a non-refundable deposit of $250 within 24 hours of the auctions end. This is to keep everyone honest AND to let me know with 100% confidence that the high bidder is serious about owning the car. This way, when you see a bid on my auction you can feel confident that its a real bid by an interested car guy or gal. It also helps when I dont run a reserve, I like to run a real auction. Sure, Id love to get the money I have invested back, classic cars should be fun as well as an investment, but Im not just about the money. I prefer to see the classics on the road and I do my best to keep as many there as I can. Just enjoy the auction, bid with confidence and perhaps you will get one of the best deals on ebay. Id just like to see her go to a loving home. As stated you will have 24 hours to pay the deposit, the second high bidder will be contacted at hour 25 so please get it done early. Full payment must be in hand within 7 days of auctions end, so if you dont plan to be here in person to pick the car up in 7 days please be ready to send a Money Order or be willing to do a bank transfer. Preferably you will come for the car in person and have cash, but either way is fine. I will help you load it on a trailer or hand you the keys so you can drive her home. I will also work with your shipping company to get the car delivered. Once paid I will still be here to answer questions and help you retrieve your car in any way I can. I appreciate your trust and will do all I can to help.
