1990 Red (almost burgundy) Ford Taurus L Wagon. CLEAN TITLE. NO RESERVE. Runs OK but won't pass emissions test. 291,000 miles, Auto Transmission, 3.0 L, 6 cyl Seats up to 8 passengers, or holds a huge amount of cargo with the seats down. Original owner purchased new. This car has gotten me to work and back for 21 years, and it can continue to do the same for you. The ONLY reason I am selling is because it will not pass the TX emissions test. It does pass safety inspection. State approved repair shop says it needs a new catalytic converter to pass, and I don't have the money to get one. If you meet the program requirements, the state might pay for the repairs or give you money to replace the car, but I am not eligible. Work done since December 2010: 4 BRAND NEW TIRES, Just a few hundred miles wear, I spent over $500 on good tires! Front break pads replaced, one new rotor and the other resurfaced. Rears cleaned and adjusted. Replaced TPS Sensor and Harmonic Balancer. Wiper blades almost new. Registration and title current. Please note that this is one homely looking car and that there is a lot wrong with it, though it DOES RUN AND RUN AND RUN. Here are the problems I can think of, but not a complete list: Front right door replaced after accident with different color door. Opens and closes OK but key doesn't fit.Rear right door will not open after accident.Cracked windshield (no leaks) This car has been in several accidents and hail storms. Significant hail damage and accident dents all over.
