Vehicle Detail

FOR SALE 1966 Chevy C10 Pickup Arizona Truck with clean AZ Title Shortbed Fleetside Supercharged Small Block with 350 Turbo Transmission Beautiful new Butternut Yellow Paint I purchased this truck in Arizona in 2004 when I was stationed at Fort Huachuca. I had the trucked shipped to my home in Pennsylvania approximately a year later to undergo restoration. Truck has been driven under 15 miles since it has been put back together. Body and Paint The bodywork and paint on this truck has been done by a professional. Truck was full of dents and dings when I purchased it, but no major rust (Arizona Truck). Rocker panels, lower doors, lower front fenders, tailgate, front bed panel, wheel tubs and roll pan are all new steel replacement parts. This truck is all steel. Paint is Butternut Yellow and looks great! Chrome bumper and grille are also new. Door handles, light bezels and mirror are new. I installed a new oak bed with stainless steel strips and hardware. Trucks has all new slightly tinted glass. Old gas tube and cap for behind the seat tank have been removed to allow more room behind the seat and no gas fumes in the cab. Hole for gas cap on drivers side of cab has been smoothed over for a cleaner look. Truck now has a 10 gallon fuel cell between frame rails at rear of truck bed under the oak boards. You will notice the hole in the pictures as it does not yet have a door over it. Tailgate chains have been shaved and latches have been installed on inside of tailgate for a much cleaner look. Those chains can really do a number on a new paint job. Engine and Drivetrain Engine is a 350C.I. small block with a Wieand 142 roots style supercharger and a 650 performer series carburetor. Crower Racing Blower Cam, MSD 6AL ignition system. Hedman Headers, new 40 series flowmaster dual exhaust. Engine has around 5,000 mile since built and runs and sounds great. 350 Turbo transmisson works great 9 times out of 10. I have noticed recently when moving the truck that occasionally it does nothing when I put it in gear. I have been told that this is due to the fact that the truck has been driven only a few miles since restoration, and the valve bodies are sticky from sitting. This has only occured a few times and transmission works great most of the time. I was told that this problem would work itself out if the truck was simply driven. Regardless, this is something that I want the buyer to be aware of. Rear differential is a 12 bolt limited slip. Unsure of exact gear ratio, but it is geared fairly high, and seems right for this combination of engine/trans. Truck has been upgraded to power steering, power brakes and front disc brakes. Interior The inside of the cab is also sprayed with Butternut Yellow. Carpet is new gray Auto Custom Carpet. Split bench seat is from a 94 Chevy Silverado and is gray/light gray. Original dashboard has been smoothed over and fitted with VDO gauges. New Grant wooden steering wheel with Chevy horn button. Truck has tilt steering column from a later model Chevy pickup. Interior is bare bones and ready for the custom touches of the new owner. Some wiring still needs to be completed on this truck. Everything is wired that is needed to start, run and drive this truck, however the headlights, park lights and tail lights still need wire run to them from the fuse box. Questions?
