Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 96 Talon Tsi FWD with an automatic transmission. I've owned this car for the past 8 years now. When I bought it, it had only 84,000 miles on it. Today it sits at about 229,000 miles and has been nothing but a blast to drive. This car has been my daily driver since I bought it. The car is not in perfect condition but is in decent shape for its age. Currently, the car is parked so miles will not increase. Details are outlined below. First off, the car will need a new transmission at some point. It is very driveable, but being the original transmission (yes thats how well this car was taken care of), it is nearing the end of its useful life. The engine was replaced at 185,000 miles with a JDM Evo III motor that had about 40,000 miles on it. The engine does burn a little bit of oil and could use a new valve cover gasket, (about $15 and takes about 20 mins to install). The paint on the spoiler is fading and there are the typical scratchs and dents that you would expect a car that is 15 years old to have. Modifications are as follows... Under the Hood... -Mitsubishi Evo III 16g Turbo (running 9 psi) - Extreme Turbo Systems 7" "street" FMIC with Black Pipes - Greddy Type-RS Blow-Off Valve -Black Injen Intake Pipe -HKS Super Mega Flow Air Filter -Forced Performance FP1 Intake and Exhaust Cams -Forced Performance Race Exhaust Manifold -XS Engineering 3" O2 Housing -3" Downpipe -2.5" Flowmaster Cat -HKS Hi-Power Cat-Back Exhaust -Hallman Manual Boost Controller (Not Installed) -Fuel Injector Clinic 550cc Injectors -Walbro 190lph Fuel Pump -NGK Spark Plugs -NGK 8mm Plug Wires -Optima Red Top Battery Interior/Exterior/Electronics... -Defi Blue Racer Boost Gauge -Innovate Motorsports DB Wideband A/F (not currently working) -HKS Type-0 Turbo Timer -Apexi SAFC II (currently not connected all the way) -Pioneer AVIC F700BT Head Unit with Navigation -8000k HID Headlights -99 OEM Mitsubishi Eclipse Front Bumper -17" Kazera KZ-U Wheels with Bridgestone Potenza Tires Like I said above, the car will need a little TLC, but has the bare bones to be a very fun street car. This price is a fraction of what I have invested in this car. The wheels and tires alone will cost over $1000 brand new. I have reciepts for much of the maintinance and repairs. This car needs a good home and I just want my garage spot back. Thanks for looking.
