Normal 0 Hi, and thanks for looking. This is my sister’s 1999 American Classic Edition Honda Shadow Tourer. Take a look at the photos and take my word this bike looks just as good in person as it does on film. It has a unique factory two-tone paint job done in a beautiful Green and Cream with tons of gleaming chrome. It also has all the great features you’d expect from a big-bore Shadow; 1100cc Liquid Cooled V-Twin, large and comfortable rider and passenger seats with backrest, floorboards, highway bar, matching large capacity hard bags, the factory fitted windshield, luggage rack and even a chrome clock atop the master cylinder. Not only does this bike look great, it rides great too. The power is as you would expect and the saddle is all-day comfortable. It is truly a joy to ride, especially on the highway. With its nearly new tires, it corners and handles very nice. It also has the best cornering clearance of any cruiser made. Only a high-speed canyon carver would touch these floorboards down. Unlike other big cruisers, this one handles great! My sister’s over 50 now and doesn’t ride anymore but, when she did she belonged to a local club who did weekend rides throughout the state. She only put sedate, highway miles on the bike and took very good care of it. Since she stopped riding, about 6 months ago, she moved to an apartment, so the bike lives in my garage now where it is safely stored from the elements. Our Brother came for a 2-week visit last month and, in preparation for his trip, she had a lot of service done; Full Synthetic Hondlube oil change, New Filters, New Rear Brakes, New Coolant, New Plugs and a general front to back inspection. He enjoyed riding the bike while he was here, and I’ve ridden it a couple times since, too. This bike is ready to roll anywhere. It’s the only cruiser I’ve ever ridden that made me consider giving up my Ninja. The paint and chrome on this bike, as well as the upholstery, are nearly perfect. Aside from a small dimple atop the tank (that doesn’t even show in photos) the bike is excellent. This is a real time capsule and the high bidder will be very happy. The price includes a full cover and a complete Honda service manual. These bikes last forever, and this one will give great service for many years to come.
