Up for sale is a 1969 Porsche 912 that is freshly restored back to its glory. This car is an original California car that was put in storage in 1996, with the original black plates, which comes with it. I bought the car a few months back and started a full restoration. The car is now completed. It was stripped down. Everything was removed, refurbished or replaced. The car started out as a California car with matching numbers and minor rust on the passenger side floor pan. The rust was professionally removed and replaced with a factory OEM pieces Vin 129022074 Eng blank Trans 5190232 paint 68-6851 - L mile 70553 EXTERIOR The car was sanded down to bare metal and painted back to its original color code (68-6851-L ) silver metallic with an excellent paint finish . All the trims and seals were replaced. New horns were installed. New H4 headlights, new tail light lens, new turn signal light lens, new fog lights, new horn grills. The OEM Fuchs wheels 6 J x 15 was all refurbished and dressed with new tires. INTERIOR The interior was completely refurbished in its original black color. Perforated hide and hound-tooth center on seats, new door panels, dash, new headliner, new carpets. Brake pedal cluster was rebuilt with new brass bushing and repainted. New shifter bushing. All gauges were removed, checked, cleaned and repainted, and all in excellent restored working condition. Even the clock works. ENGINE and SUSPENSION Each and every bolt and nut for the engine and suspension was taken out and cab plated or zinc plated and all brake lines were replaced. Each and every part that was removed has been powder coated, such as, the hood hinges, deck lid hinges, A arrms, spring plates, the complete suspension and all engine sheet metal, including the air cleaners,were powder coated in gloss finish. The engine was rebuilt with all new gasket sets, new main bearings, new rod bearings, 86mm big bore kit, valve job, new clutch disc, pressure plate and trout bearing. This engine performs extremely well, with lots of power. The front and rear suspension was rebuilt with all new bushing , new shocks, front and rear. New brakes all around, new brake lines and hoses, new tires, front and rear. I also have original steel wheels with new chrome, new hubcaps and new tires available (whichever the buyer prefers). This car is very neat and clean, and also very solid. The undercarriage is extremely clean and solid too. Pictures don't give this car justice, but seeing it in person will. This is a real beauty. This is another fine car being offered, and as you may know, I have sold quite a few beauties on Ebay. The car is now available for viewing by appointment only. SERIOUS INQUIRER PLEASE.
