I am totally in shock right now with the fact that I ‘m selling not only one of my Vipers, but 2! Anyone that knows me, knows how much I love these Gen 2 Vipers. I believe these will someday, be some of the most collectable cars ever manufactured. I don’t like to buy just run of the mill common cars, but they need to have something special about them. The car I’m selling a believe fits that statement. It’s a 1999 Viper ACR! In 1999 only a handful of these cars were produced. The car is the factory silver, but a while back I hade the stripes painted on it to give it more of an old school Shelby look. I also had the wheels powder coated to match, and give it a racier stance. I also had the seats re-done in a super soft leather, French stitched with a more European old school feel. The motor was replaced / rebuilt about 30k miles ago because of an oiling problem. No oil means, no motor! I just had the Transmission rebuilt less then a year ago, along with a new clutch. The car has an up-graded full adjustable coil over suspension, and a custom high flow exhaust system. The car is putting out about 500hp the way it’s chipped / built now, and runs perfect on 91 octane gas. The car is 100% smog legal. The motor does have an adjustable computer for changing spark timing and air fuel mixture. The valve covers on the motor are polished, along with the runners on top of the fuel intake. The car needs nothing except a new home. I also just put new tires on the car about 800 miles ago. This is not your typical beat up Viper, but a very tight driving car. The car has been used to go on car cruises all over the United States most of it life, and still looks like more of a show car then most garage queens. The car has always been a California car, but has been registered out of State on a couple different occasions to save California sale tax, and for lower registration fee’s.
