Nothing is going unmentioned or kept secret so bid with confidence. y You are looking at my 1976 Corvette Stingray, T-Top, power windows, PS/PB, red, black interior, chrome wheels. I drove this car 100 miles last weekend and would drive it anywhere. You will also see that the car was vandalized while I was in the hospital recently. They took the dvd/cd player, the speakers, the speaker box, and the amp. I hate to sell this car but due to my medical history, I am unable to keep the car. My lost is your investment gain. NONMATCHING 350ci ENGINE, AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, POSI REAR END. CAR HAS NEVER BEEN RESTORED NOR ANY ACCIDENTS & THE PAINT IS OLDER, THE HOOD DECAL IS IN FAIR SHAPE AS WELL AS THE DOOR DECALS. THERE IS SOME LIGHT FADING IN THE PAINT AND ON THE TTOPS, BUT THERE IS NO LEAKAGE FROM T-TOPS AND THE BOTH BOLT SECURE. THE INSIDE SHOWS A GREAT DASH WITH VERY MINOR CRACKS AROUND THE SPEAKER HOLES, GREAT DOOR PANELS WITH MINIMUM CRACKS ON THE ARM REST. CARPET IS IN FAIR CONDITION, STEERING WHEEL IS IN FAIR CONDITON AND THE CENTER CONSOLE SHOWING THE GEAR CAN BE REPLACED. STORAGE BINS WERE DAMAGED WHEN THE CAR WAS BROKEN INTO AS WELL AS THE RADIO/DVD PLAYER REMOVED. NO FINANCING is implied or offered for this car. This is a 35 year old car, it is not perfect it is NOT A SHOW CAR. It is however a good looking car that does turn heads and it runs great. The paint nor the interior is perfect (please see pictures) and I have tried to describe the best I can the car you are bidding on. Ask questions PLEASE READ: When I list items I try my best to include a good description of the item being sold. However, sometimes there are things that I may not think of at the time that someone asking a question will think of. That is why questions are a great thing and I encourage them. Some more questions that have been asked: Is the engine and transmission the original? The engine is not original, the transmission I am not sure about. Is it a matching numbers car? Most likely it is NOT a matching numbers car since it does not the original engine. Has the car always been garaged? I am not sure, I am going to go with the car has NOT been garaged all through it's life. I only know that since I purchased it 5 years ago, the car has resided in a garage under a cover. Are there any spiderweb cracks? Yes there are some, as with any fiberglass body that is always something to contend with. The car is 35 years old. There are a couple on the hood not very big and on the top of the left front fender. As I said in an earlier description, the car does have some chips, cracks, and bubbles in the paint. There are some scratches and scuffs on the t-tops and the body. How old is the paint on the car? I am not sure, I do think it is rather old since it does have some thinning in a few areas that appears to be wear from buffing (see picture of top of right front fender). It is not the best paint job and will need painting. Does it have any leaks? As with any older vehicle it does have some minor leaks. How many owners has the car had? I am not sure. I hope this addresses some of the questions any of you looking at the car may have. The bottom line is I want to make sure that everyone understands this car is NOT a show piece, it has been a driver, it is NOT an original matching numbers car. It is a classic Corvette that has been driven and it's history is unknown. You could drive as is or you could restore it to it's originality. This car has cosmetic imperfections as outlined in the original description and the additional descriptions that followed. As they say the eyes of the beholder are different in all of us. Thats why I ask you to please be sure you understand what this car is and be sure it is what you want. I want the buyer to be happy and enjoy the car and I would rather you not bid than for you to be to be unhappy.
