Mustang lovers here is your chance to own a rare piece of history! Heres the story on the mustang..... I bought this car off of ebay over a year ago,I drove to get this car in florida.I bought it in not running condition and took a chance on it. I fiddled with it one day and got it going.Replacing on the eec relay did the trick( it was only firing at random).This car has since been sitting as I have realized I do not have the time or finances to restore two cars at the same time and maintain two houses(currently restoring a 71 gto) That being said I have driven the car to work a few times(40 mile round trip) and it ran and drove good.It would cut out once you got it into boost buy you could tell it really wanted to go. I suspect a weak fuel pump but then again I have been driving on the gas that was in the car for god knows how long. I would suggest towing it or having it shipped.There was a new fuel pump in the box in the backseat but cant find it for the life of me now. NOT included with the car but I also have a set of silver 17 by 9 cobra r wheels that may be negotiated for. The interior of the car is actually pretty fair,the carpet looks ok and would probably clean up,the door panels and seats look ok,the dash has a crack or two.Some of the plastic panels are kind of rough in the rear but they arent svo specific and would be easy to replace or merely refinish. The interior I would deem a driver quality not a pristine show car. I have made no attempt to clean the car whatsoever,it has just sat in my garage. Carpet could probably shampoo out or simply replace.The radio has been replaced with a aftermarket cd player but I have never tried it to see if it works. The exterior will need paint without question,the doors need a good blocking, typical dings here and there.The is some minor rust but have inclosed pics of affected areas and it is easily repairable(bottoms of doors and small spots on roof area).Driver side wheel arch appears to have had some work done but appears to only need minor sanding. I do have the side spats even though they arent pictured on the car. The previous owner removed them to look for rust underneath and for some reason sanded the paint off looking for some. Missing the trim around the windshield,front inner marker light is discolored but you can buy those aftermarket new.The lower fog lights are missing but aftermarket ones can be bought on ebay. Electrical- all of the lights worked last time I tried them,dash,marker,headlights etc etc.Power windows worked also. Someone has retrofitted a different electric fan but it needs to be wired up.I dont know what it came off of but it does move a ton of air. The engine seems totally sound,no smoke no knocks,great oil pressure,the trans is the same,nice quite and smooth.The clutch seems good and strong as well.It appears like it is totally stock except for a 2.5 inch down pipe and exhaust.Im guessing a flomaster muffler.You can really hear it spool up through it. The down pipe will need to be bolted back to the turbo(two nuts) as it came loose one day coming home from work.It is just wired up where it wouldnt drag the road driving home.I parked it and havent tried to drive it since.I knew it was going to happen because it would gradually get louder and louder.Unfortunately I work as a manager in retail and have very little time to work on anything but sleep. I would like to sell the car to help fund my other project but I will consider the following for trades,big cc v twin cruiser, motorhome/rv(nothing older than mid 80s) nice zero turn mower plus cash on your end,83-87 buick regal with t tops, houseboat,if its feasible distance wise for transport,I would like something I could keep at the lake and stay on, or nice bumper pull camper. Getting it to you... I will work with your shipper of choice within reason and as my schedule permits or I can deliver the car to you cheaper.I will deliver within a 500 mile radius for 1.25 per loaded,meaning you only pay one way or 62 and a half cents a mile both ways however you want to look at it. I will require of course the vehicle to be paid for in full before anyone loads it including myself.I will also drive to meet you somewhere with it to save you drive time.but again I need cash in hand before I roll.This is all contigent on my work schedule and where you live. You are of course welcome to come pick it up either with a dolly or a trailer. Do not waste your time with the typical scams that are tried daily on here.I like most are wise to them,I will not be sending the excess funds anywhere or shipping the car to nigeria. Please do not ask what the reserve is just bid what its worth to you to pay.I will say my reserve is much much less than what you could ever hope to even begin to find another one for.
