I have for sale a 1983 Mercedes-benz 300D diesel. This car was owned by P Castle Productions in Southern California. Owner of company was/is Calvin Clements Jr. He was a screen story and screen writer. He worked in all kinds of movies and wrote stories for a lot of misc. series in the 80's and 90's such as McGyver and Walker Texas Ranger (Chuck Norris!!!)...the waltons etc.,etc. Also Movies as well. Example Assault on Devil's Island with Hulk Hogan, Carl Weathers and Shannon Tweed. It's been said he used this car to pick up and drop off actors/actress. Car has some great history and a lot of paper work to it. VIN NUMBER is WDBAB33A9DB019692 Car is almost 30 years old so it isn't perfect. Will need all cosmetics to be back to it's original state. Has some dings. The only dent is in the passenger rear door. Numerous Hollywood A and B list celebrities have made this car a used car. It has 228,000 miles on the engine but there is no blow by! All 5 cylinders posting compression numbers between 395 and 400. Just a great running engine and you can still feel the turbo kick in! Transmission is a little finicky but still runs and operates great.You have to hold Reverse in Reverse. Paperwork on the car shows this being like this for years. Nothing wrong with daily driving it! Axles look to have been replaced in the last year or two. A lot of service records to go through. I'm not going to list everything. If you are not ok with this, please do not bid. California bidders please be aware that it has not been registered since Dec of 2010. This will probably cost you an extra $60-80 at DMV.
