To start with, let me first say that I understand that there is a lot of information in my ad. I also understand that this may be boring to the person who is just looking and not buying. However, for the person who is looking to buy and spend their hard earned money, I feel that there is never too much information. As to myself, I am not a dealer, just a (61) year old kid that loves muscle cars. For my work, I manage a Correctional Facility here in Maine and have worked there for over (37) years. I am also a respected member of my community. I mention this only so that prospective buyers will have some idea as to whom they are dealing with. I am selling this car for a good friend who is not a computer aficionado and asked me if I would help him. The owner really needs to move this truck. so for sale here in this auction is an absolutely outstanding example of an all original and totally loaded 1996 Ford F150 XLT 4x2 Regular Cab. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer one for sale anywhere for the reserve that has been set here today. This vehicle is loaded with basically all options that were available in 1996 for this particular model. The odometer reads only (45,684) original miles. The vehicle retains all of its original paint as well as all of its original body panels. There are no visible areas of rust that I could find anywhere on the truck. Of course, as with any truck that is (15+) years old and still wearing its original paint, there are a couple of very minor scratches that would need to be pointed out for you to even notice. The undercarriage is super clean as you will see in the tons of photos I have included. The truck is simply outstanding with its original Light Saddle Clearcoat Metallic exterior paint and beautiful Mocha Cloth interior. The first owner drove the truck approximately 20,000 miles in a two year period before trading the truck in. The second owner, who is actually a local car collector, kept the truck in a climate controlled environment for around 10 years only adding approximately 500 miles to the odometer. The truck was then sold to the nephew who eventually sold the truck to the current owner. It should be noted that the truck was never driven in the winter. The engine starts and runs beautifully with no smoking or burning of oil having recently receiving a fresh tune-up. The automatic transmission shifts up and down the gears with no slipping or funny noises. The interior is in excellent condition with little wear and no rips or tears in any of the upholstery, dash or headliner. Additionally, the A/C, all lights, gauges and the stereo equipment function properly. The vehicle brakes as it should and all tires are in good condition. The rims are the factory optional chrome style steel wheels still in great condition.
