This is a legally binding contract and the last bidder will be the owner of this great vehicle. 1991 BMW 850i Driver Quality Exotic 12 cylinder BMW that looks like nothing else in the road. Styling cues from the original BMW M1 exotic of the 70's. This hardtop touring coupe has the timeless looks of the ultimate modern classic. Exterior of the car is in great shape. Original California car that shows no rust and no signs of previous damage. Clean history and very well maintained. Paint is in good overall shape with great shine and lustrous droop red color. It shows very few road chips but no mayor scratches or damages. Very few dents in the roof and hood maybe around 10 or so overall that are only visible at very close inspection they are extremely light and were hard to show in pictures. The glass is in good shape and chrome wheels are also in good shape. Interior of the car is in good shape for its age and mileage. No mayor damages or signs serious sings of wear. The driver seat show light wear with one spot that is stronger. Dash and carpet are in good clean shape. The overall upholstery is in good shape well above average for it age and niles. Sunroof is not working and the sunroof control and control panel in the headliner is missing. Overall is a very clean interior. Mechanical the car is in good overall shape with small repairs needed to what we believe is the throttle body adjustment or repair. The 12 cyl engine starts up well and it shows good power. Engine does not smoke and does not show any bad noises. It is simply slower to take off when cold as if its not getting enough gas but once vehicle is warm it runs and accelerates without a problem. The transmission shifts well and brakes function properly. Service lights in the dash stay on. This is a fantastic looking modern classic that would keep its desire and increase price as it gets older. Originally this vehicles sold for nearly 100,000 dlls in the early 90's don't miss out this opportunity to purchase one for a fraction of its original MSRP. If we list a car as a classic, the following is what you should expect: Concourse Quality = This is the highest rating we can give a classic car. The vehicle usually has gone through a meticulous, no expense spare restoration. Museum Quality = This is a top rating given to vehicles that have gone through professional restorations have and have been very well kept or are in top original survivor condition. Investment Quality = Mid top range for a classic vehicle that is worthy of collecting. Is solid and well kept through-out and has value in its originality and condition, which is expected to appreciate with time. Drivers Quality = These are collector vehicles that are in good enough shape to be a proud owner and driver. These vehicles most likely wont win shows, but will impress most drivers in the street. Driver quality vehicles do need maintenance and attention in certain areas since many are 40 and 50 year old and attention to keep them driving safely in the streets is constantly needed. Project Quality = We very rarely offer projects and as the word implies these are vehicles that need extended amounts of work and restoration. These areas of conditions are gray, meaning some vehicles are in between areas, a vehicle may be an investment driver or museum investment, etc. We post numerous pictures and give a brief description of the vehicle. We do our absolute best to describe our cars and to convey its condition to you our potential customers, but please understand classic vehicles are OLD vehicles and that they are SOLD AS IS. It is true that our vehicles do sell for a good bargain and fantastic prices, but you are almost always going to pay for what you get. If a car sells for $5,000, you are buying a car within that range of price; in respect to value, collectability, and condition. In the unforeseen situation that there is a major description discrepancy (this is where the 3rd party inspection or a personal inspection is an essential tool), as a last resort a full refund, minus the cost of shipping, can be used to mutually resolve an honest possible misunderstanding.
