1979 Jaguar XJ6 Series 3 for Sale. 4.2 L engine w/ automatic transmission. 4 door sedan w/ AC, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, original AM/FM cassette stereo. It's been sitting for several years. I bought it with the intention of throwing in a 350 in 2009 when I wouldn't have to smog it anymore. California changed the smog laws so now I don't want to deal with it. I had the front end rebuilt 100 miles ago, steering & suspension are nice & tight. The front window is cracked & there's a small rust spot there. The tires hold air for a while but will need to be replaced before it is driven. The body is in great shape except for the rust spot at the windshield. The paint has minor scratches here & there but you can't even see them after it's been polished & waxed. The interior is in great shape considering the car is over 30 years old. The registraion is past due here in California & I don't know how much it would cost to bring the tags up to date. It was last registered in 2003. The car is being sold as-is, where-is. I'll be happy to work with the winning bidder as far as getting it ready for shipping. I drained the old gas out of the tanks & added fresh gas & the car fired right up. I put some video of the car being driven on youtube. Type in Bruedog101 & you'll see a couple of clips.
