I bought this car new in 1982. It has been garage kept the entire time. It has never been in an accident. It was rustproofed by Ziebart when I bought it. The car was never smoked in and never eaten in. I drove it in the summers and drove my truck the rest of the time. I drove it until about five years ago. After that, I just got too busy for summer pleasure driving. However, I would start it and drive it up and down my drive way every few months. It was last serviced two years ago (taken by flat bed, (car not insured). I had a new fuel pump, new clutch and pressure plate and other small repairs. The car runs perfectly. It is a five speed. Everything is factory, incuding the exhaust system. Radio, windows, all electric works perfectly. As I said, the car is a one owner. I owned it since I bought it new. I did go through a divorce about 12 years ago. The title was originally in my name and my wife's name. We retitled it (as part of the property settlement) at the time of the divorce, to my name only. I mention this because I don't know if the car fax will show it being retitled but if you look closely you'll see that my name is on the original title and the current title. The leather seats show no sign of wear or dirt. I will gladly take close up pictures of any part of the car that you would like. The car is not in show room condition. It has the minor dings etc., that come with driving a car, but that's all that's wrong with the car. I have always run fully synthetic oil in the car (Castrol Synthetic), I run mobile one in the Vette. There is a small crack in the dashboard top cover , where ALL 280's crack. It is easily repaired or replaced. It is so small it never bothered me. The tires have appx. 500 miles on them and they are exactly the same as the ones that came new on the car. They are practically new There are no hidden problems that I am aware of or my mechanic is aware of. If you want to talk to the garage where I get the car serviced, I will give you their number. It's not generated until you submit the ad. It says the mileage is 88,000 miles. That is completely incorrect. It has 44,090 miles, just as I said above. The mileage is written on the back of the Pa inspection sticker and is a part of all Pa inspection records. The odometer works fine, is the original and has never been replaced. It says "44,090 miles". I don't know why ebays car check is reporting higher mileage. The mileage is also reported every year when a Pa resident applys for their yearly registration.
