This vehicle has been well maintained. It has been garaged all it's life. I am the third owner. I bought it from my neighbor and he bought it from a friend . The vehicle was garaged and unused other than a trip around the block periodically to keep the engine in shape for approximately 7 years (1993-2000).We have used it each summer/ fall since.The paint is in good shape with normal wear. There is no undercarriage rust. There is a minor ding above the rear wheel well and on the sliding door(see picture).The mileage is authentic. The vehicle has been maintained by a certified V.W. mechanic.There are no mechanical issues I am aware of at this time. We replaced hoses in 2009, a new clutch cylinder in 2010, and installed a new battery and wipers in May 2011.The vehicles interior is clean and in excellent condition. This vehicle was used by adult couples only in it's life. The original ceiling vent was damaged and replaced by a flat Plexiglas vent.There are no leaks and the canvas is in good shape. One minor tear was patched (bondex) in and out. The entire canvas was retreated for waterproofing as a preventative measure each year we have owned it.All widows have curtains, and a screen for the back hath door is included.This camper is ready to be used. The air conditioner runs although we have never used it. The 3 way refrigerator did not cool when we purchased the camper.The prior owner said it had worked,. we used it as an Ice box..it may need coolant? . The stove, sink and water all work fine.There is an anti theft kill switch installed in this vehicle as well.We are selling this vehicle as is and imply no warranties.A deposit payment of $500.00 must be made within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Payment must be made via Pay Pal or cash.(in person). The Balance must be paid in a within 7 days after the close of the auction by cash or certified bank check. It will be the Purchaser's responsibility to pick up the vehicle or arrange for it's delivery.
