Bought this car 4 years ago to restore for $1,500. 4 speed manual. Car is in decent shape. Does not start. The car was incredibly well-maintained by previous owner. He kept meticulous records which I have. Bought from his son. Car ran fine until Father's Day, 2008 when it just quit running on me. Local mechanic was able to get it running but it died on me again.. New starter, belts, etc. so on. Probably needs a a new carb. Tires OK, interior OK, some rust. Dents. But overall car is restorable and until recently ran fine. 1974 first year for the X1/9 in the US.
