1973 Volkswagen Westfalia Deluxe Camper *Please note that this is a Buy it Now or Best offer listing. It can end at any time, so put in your offer early so you don't miss out!* You're looking at a 1973 Volkswagen Deluxe Camper Bus. With a nearly 100% original interior, rebuilt mechanics and a corrosion-free body, this bus is ready to go camping! Exterior-wise, she's in good condition. She appears to have been painted once over the original paint in a fair respray. New items include taillight lenses, turn signal lenses, front and rear reflectors, windshield wiper arms and blades, front door handles and seals. She's fairly straight with a few dings here and there, but nothing that detracts from its classic looks. All glass is original to the bus. Louvered windows operate as they should, doors close and lock properly. Interior-wise, she's in excellent condition. The interior is a one-year-only setup. Featuring original upholstery, original cabinetry, original panels, its a time warp back to 1973. The rear seat folds into a bed for sleeping for 2. There is an icebox with storage space, two fold out tables, spice rack, and sink with watertank. There is a drain underneath the bus to allow water used/drained in the sink to exit. The rear seat has seatbelts for two, and the jump seat behind the driver seat also has a seat belt, as well as storage under the bottom cushion. There is a fold out table in the center. Several cabinets and storage areas are abundant inside the bus. Up front, there is a CD player for blasting tunes while cruising. Mechanically, she's in great condition. Recent maintenance included new front rotors, new calipers and pads, new tie rods and new draglink. She drives straight and tight. The engine is a 1.8 Type4 that was rebuilt approx. 5500 miles ago. Dual Weber carbs, new tune up parts and a new dual exhaust finish things out back. Electrical system is good, with all lights and switches working properly. Shifting is great with no sloppiness or funny noises. Cruising at 70mph all day long is not a problem. Check out the pictures, drop an email if you have any questions. Please remember that this is a "Buy it Now" or "Best Offer" listing. It may end at any time, so throw your offer in soon... you don't want to miss this one! Good luck
