This Auction is for a 1966 GTO Clone it started life as a Tempest Custom. To make this car a well functioning cruise night vehicle few things that come to mind, tires and battery. Cosmetically there is included a headliner that needs to be installed and there is a small patch of rust on the passenger rear quarter and a small spot on the passenger door. Otherwise this is a great driver. Both the driver and passenger floor pans are new, as are the brakes and suspension. The suspension utilizes high lift rear coils and Edelbrock Performer IAS Shocks at all 4 corners; improving handling. The heart of the car is the pontiac 400 fed by a 4 barrel Edelbrock carb through and open element air cleaner mated to a manual 4 speed. This vehicle is a strong runner that turns heads even sitting still
