Vehicle Detail

1969 Plymouth Cuda 340 S Automatic. Car is an original 1 family owned car from the San Diego California area. The Dad bought it new in 1969 and drove it and then gave it to the son and I bought it from him. I purchased this car on Ebay about 4 yrs ago and flew out to San Diego to see it and ship it on a carrier to Houston, where it is located now. I drove the car there and drove it into my garage after shipping. Car ran and drove good for a car that sat for years in Cali under a carport. I have a set of "Centerline" type wheels on it that came from another 69 I had. I had them blasted and powder coated with new tires mounted. I wanted them to look period correct. Wheels cost over $ 1,600.00. The small bolt pattern wheels are hard to come by. I do have the 4 centercaps. They are not on the car in picture. I started to tear down the interior, seats dash etc... and purchased alot of new parts that go with car. List: 2 really nice almost perfect tail light assy's. Good underdash wiring harness. Harness in car works but is brittle due to dry heat over years. 1 Used center console included for parts and 1 to install. Rechromable used back up lights that go on bottom of rear valence. Real nice chrome tail panel painted correctly to replace existing. 2 new full rear 1/4 panels that I had from the other car. The bottom of the left rear quarter about 8 inches up is the only spot that the car has for rust other than typical surface rust. There appears not to be that much body filler on car from previous repairs since it only saw 2 owners. It does not appear to have been badly wrecked at any time but could have been in a fender/bender at one time or another. Nothing too obvious. The brakes look like they have been gone thru not too far back. Seem to work ok, new pads etc... If someone flushed out the fuel system and reassembled interior, they could have a running car for a few hundred bucks. I have restored 2 other Mopars and my intention was to do this one as well but just don't have the time to finish. Car is original Sea Foam paint color as can be seen in picture. Original a/c car. Front windshield has crack but all other glass is decent. I have other parts that come with it, small stuff but will include. Have original owners manual included. Please call 713 -417-8083 ( Lou ) with any questions about car. Prefer Paypal. Must receive $ 500 deposit within 7 days of auction close. Will help with shipping arrangements or whatever is needed. On Jun-27-11 at 16:02:19 PDT, seller added the following information:*** UPDATE *** Car has a numbers matching engine and possibly tranny. I verified with floor jack that engine rail on rt side has matching vin but due to size constraints of my own and the small frame of the A-body, I could see like two of the tranny numbers barely and they looked the same. The original owners son did say it was numbers matching eng/tranny. I added pictures to see rust free trunk floor/extensions and rust free floor pans. Car was undercoated from years ago.
