Basket case GT750. Shows 7xxx miles. The engine was stuck when I got it and I had intended to install new oversized pistons. When I got it apart I found the pistons were free but but that there had been transmission problems. Apparently the chain sometimes separates itself and tears up the case which had happened here. I knew that when I bought it and the piece of the case directly above the chain has been broken off. One of the gears in the transmission had a tooth sheared off as well. In addition I found the rod sideplay well in excess of specs. So it will need the crank rebuilt and a new gear. The odometer shows 7xxx but to me the engine shows more wear than would be expected. The bike though in pieces is complete. I have a number of projects I'm working on and this is a little more than I want to get into right now. The engine did have oil in it so there is very little corrosion. I have the pistons and a gasket kit which I would sell for my cost of $150. Bid at $175. I paid 400 for it and right now would like to get 100 out of it and move on. The additional 75 is to cover ebay fees. Bike is in Omaha and will have to be picked up. Call me, Steve, to discuss at 402-453-0321. A couple of notes: All the engine internals are in 30 or more seperate zip-locks. I didn't just throw everything together. There is a CDROM available that has some good tech stuff including a nice clear parts blow-up, an official Suzuki factory manual, and a couple of articles on re-building the engine. The engine block will need one helicoil for the head and I was going to do all the exhaust. I don't \have the SD title but am working on it and should have it with no problem by the time the bike is picked up.
