This is a 2004 Dodge 2500 crew cab long bed, diesel, 4x4, automatic transmission,SLT. This was a bank repossession, I am a wholesale automotive dealer. The engine in the truck starts easily but has an uneven idle. There is some blowby and when running there is a combination of black and blue smoke. It is not a mosquito fogger but it will have to be fixed. Givern the engines condition I feel the truck should not be driven any distance before being fized. Now to the next item. A new water pump has been installed. We also installed a used turbo as the original was toast. We cleaned the intercooler as it was full of oil.. The trans shifts well and the truck does drive fairly well. All other systems are good and operational. The leather interior is good and was given a complete detail yesterday. The front windshield is cracked low in front of the driver. There is no spare but the alloy wheels are good and the tires have 30% tread. The body is good with no rust or dents. There are several door dings on both sides and a small scrape on the left bed side. There is a ding on the front bumper. The ash tray is missing and the brakes may need pads. The mileage will not be certified as the truck was not running when purchased from the bank. Overall this is a solid truck that needs some engine work. Please call with questions John O'Neil 314 220
