1999 Porsche Carrera 4 Cabriolet, Immaculate, Maintained, New Top, Beautiful, Black on Black, No Reserve, Clear Title in Hand This auction is for my meticulously maintained 1999 Porsche Carrera 4 Cabriolet (all wheel drive, 6 speed manual transmission, 3.4 liter flat six cylinder engine, convertible). You will never believe that this Porsche has over a 100k. It looks more like a 30k car. My Porsche has been religiously maintained, with all possible preventative maintenance performed on a regular basis. It does not have any of the issues that the low mileage “garage queens” have from sitting. This car has been my daily driver so I made sure that it had everything carefully taken care of. Shortly after I bought the car, I went through it and replaced all the potential “wear parts” to ensure it would be totally reliable (it has been perfectly reliable the whole time I owned it – never any issues). I gave it all new brakes (including rotors), new spark plugs, all 6 ignition coils, new drive belt, 4 oxygen sensors, motor mounts, all new coolant hoses, new coolant reservoir (these tend to crack over time, mine was fine but I didn’t want to take any chances), oil and filters have been religiously changed, etc etc ( genuine Porsche parts, no crappy aftermarket parts on my Porsches). I had planned on keeping it forever, so gave it anything it might possibly need and more to keep it perfect. I even changed both complete headlight units because they became a little cloudy inside and replaced the convertible top because the rear window was starting to fog a little. I even changed the windshield last year due to chips. I will include all the receipts I have. I wouldn’t even consider selling the Carrera, but my friend who originally sold me the car offered to sell me his Carrera 4 X-51 and I couldn’t resist – and I can’t afford both. The X-51 is super rare, and he takes meticulous care of his cars so I figured it was a once in a life time opportunity. So, to make a long story short, my cherished 1999 has to go. Don’t be fooled by the mileage on this Carrera 4. It is in amazing condition for the mileage and age. It looks like and drives like a much lower mileage car. You can tell when looking and driving it that it has been extremely well maintained. This Carrera is in the best color combination of black on black and has the highly sought after Carrera Sport Classic II 18 inch wheels with recent BF Goodrich G-Force KDW ultra-performance tires with tons of tread. The exterior and interior are in beautiful shape. The engine and transmission are strong and flawless and the performance is second to none. The handling is great. The paint is in great condition, with the expected road chips on the front and a few small touch ups of road chips and nicks and scratches here and there. As you can see in the pictures, the paint is nice and glossy and there is no rust on the car. The interior is in excellent condition, with the leather showing very little wear anywhere. The carpet is in great shape as well. Please take a look at the pictures to see the beautiful condition of the Carrera 4 in and out. The Carrera is well equipped, comfortable, beautiful and fast. Everything works as it should. There is a satellite radio installed (needs subscription), a CD changer under the hood, power memory seats and mirrors, PSM Porsche stability management, OBC display activated, cruise control, chrome lug nuts (if you prefer the factory lugs and wheel locks, I’ll swap them). Of course, the car comes with the original manuals, tool kit, both original key/remotes, factory floor mats, CD with factory parts manual and repair manual, etc. It needs nothing – just hop in and enjoy the wind in your hair. It has no leaks, no weird smells, no warning lights on, just good times. It has a clean Carfax. I would drive this Porsche anywhere.
