Up for aucton is a RARE Numbers Matching 1976 Ford F-100 Ranger XLT pickup that is mostly original with only 58,000 miles. There are original Ford manufacturer stickers and labels on some of the engine components (see pics). Truck is in great shape considering it's 35 years old, never been restored (was painted one time). Body and paint are in very good condition with only a couple chip marks. Body is straight and paint shines, all trim is original. 302 CI engine cranks and runs as good as it did back in 1976. 3-speed transmission shifts good. It has manual steering and brakes. New plugs, tune-up, and battery recently. The lack of driving has caused the tires to show cracking. Truck has been garage kept most of it's life. Father-in-law was a tobacco farmer and had this for his Sunday truck, hardly ever drove it, hence the very low miles. He gave the truck to my step-son to sell for a smaller Toyota. IMO the truck is better than driver quality because of the originality. Someone may want to rechrome the bumpers and freshen up the trim to make it a show stopper. I'm not a Ford guy but it is a nice truck, wish it was a Chevy and I would keep it. This is a 35 year old original Ford pick-up (in great shape), not showroom condition though. It has manual drum brakes that work fine, pedal could use some adjusting though, some free play before it catches. There is one vertical tear in the seat back, see video.
