Vehicle Detail
Hi! Thanks for looking at my Valkyrie Interstate. This is going to be hard for me, I never thought I would be selling it. I bought this Valk last year mid-summer down south of St Louis. I rode it all the way home, with a smile on my face. The guy I bought it from had tears in his eyes as I rode off, and now I know how he feels. He took very good care of it, writing down evey service or adjustment that was done. He included a couple Oil Filters, some extra light bulbs, and extra keys, all things that would come in handy 900 miles from home. When I bought it, I had a little sticker shock, till he told me the money I was trying to beat him up over he had spend that year over winter servicing, adjusting Carbs, replacing Vacuum lines, and buying a new front tire. I was sold. If you look at my pics, you will notice some very expensive upgrades that you don't want to live without. The first are the Foglights. They are a Honda accessory, quality throughout. There is a master switch to turn them on and off on the left Radiator Cover. It also has Cobra Floorboards for both the rider and the passenger. It has a Trailer Hitch. I never pulled anything with it, but the last guy did. He went to Knoxville pulling a trailer, and didn't like it. He sold the trailer, and bought that little Luggage carrier. He installed lights on it, and used it for a small cooler. (see pic) He also had a Motorcycle cover (in the silver bag) and Battery Tender. It is Intergrated into the wiring, so all you have to do is plug it in to the wall, and the bike and your done! he added a "Beverage" holder to the handlebars, nice Aluminum with a rubber insulator inside. He added a Chrome Radiator cover, and the "Dragon" nameplate below (for the Tail of the dragon, i suppose). The Highway Pegs and Grips are made by Kuryakyn, and really help in a long ride. Also, the Radio is AM/FM with a Input cable, hardwires to your Droid, Ipod, or Iphone to the Radio- a MUST if you like music! He has added a Oil Temp Guage to the dipstick. The third bad has a Chrome Luggage rack, and rear speakers were added to the armrest for a better sound. (In the factory holes). I am sure there is more Chrome added, but I wouldn't know where to begin! Take a look at the pics, truly a Beautiful Motorcycle. That Gold/Black was a color available for the last year-2001. I am at Purdue, so it fit, and is really nice all cleaned up. There is one "Nick" in the right saddlebag, really small-but the only imperfection in 44,000 miles. I bought is with 37K, or so. Everything you see in the pics go with the bike. The cooler holder, the cover, the recieved. I have a clean, no Lein title in my possession. I just changed the oil (OEM Honda) two weeks ago. This bike is ready to ride home, wherever home is. Please call me if you have any questions. Tony 765-427-0076. This bike has a realistic Reserve, and I will sell the bike locally, if the right offer is made. Don't wait! You won't find another as clean or optioned so well. Good Luck!On Jun-20-11 at 11:38:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had several people ask about the seat-It is a Mustang seat with adjustable backrest for the driver. I have also had a couple guys ask about delivery-I will ride it 200 miles in any direction and meet you, but only once we have agreed to payment. It also has a wing under the Luggage rack with a third brake light. Please e-mail me or call if you have any questions. Thanks! Tony
