Vehicle Detail
2007 Honda Civic Hybrid which I purchased as a one owner vehicle. All mechanical functions work properly including A/C, electric windows, windshield (no chips or cracks), radio with CD player, automatic transmission runs out very well, IMA, Intergrated Motor Assist, which has been software updated at the local Honda dealership when I purchased vehicle back in January of this year. Before I purchased vehicle, I called and spoke with the local Honda dealership and ran a history report on VIN number and asked how long the IMA system usually last on a vehicle of this type before replacement is needed. I was told that you could expect 200k miles plus before any maintenance or replacement of the IMA system is required. I installed new Honda front brake pads and a new Honda engine battery when I purchased vehicle. It had approx. 109,848 miles on it when I purchased it and since then, I have driven it to its present mileage of 117,000 +- with NO mechanical issues whatsoever. It has gotten as much as 49 mpg (speed avg. 64 mpg) on the highway, depending on your speed and driving habits. It is of course rated at 40 city and 45 highway. Regular gasoline is required and I consistently have gotten an average of 37 - 44 mpg combined (city and highway). Drives out smooth and very comfortable. The car does have scratches on the rear of the vehicle and 2 dents (both small) on the right side doors (someone opened their car door onto Civic door, door dingy, could be worked out by door dent repairman). Not cosmetically an issue (can't even tell by pictures) as the car does have higher mileage. It does not detract from the appearance of the vehicle. It has been a non smokers car its entire life and the interior is cloth with no tears or rips on any of the seats. The tires have around 20k or more remaining life on them, all match and the car does drive straight and very smooth with no out of balance condition in its ride. Spare in trunk never on ground. It is very clean in appearance with no foul smells of anykind. It has had no paint work that I have detected as I asked prior to purchasing vehicle back in January. It is a great little car that gets excellent fuel economy with all accesories working properly. Gas release handel next to driver's seat does not work properly. Sometimes it released fuel door, sometimes not. You would have to use a small blade, screwdriver to open gas door. Nt a big deal. Didn't know it did not work properly when I purchased, hasn't been an issue for me. Feel free to call with any questions that you may have about the vehicle before bidding. You can reach me at 205-229-2528, Robert. Thanks for your interest and good luck.
