Vehicle Detail
Recent barn find. What you see is pretty much what you get. We bought this to restore and then I came to the realization that I really don't know that much about British Bikes......so I found it and now you can restore it. It appears to be pretty much complete in my not very knowledgable opinion. It's been sitting for some time and the engine does not turn over. It needs a lot of love and commitment but she sure is a restorable bike. Take a good look at my photobucket site that shows 48 pictures of the bike as it looked when we bought it. http://s560.photobucket.com/albums/ss49/jwalte01/1967%20Triumph%20Tiger/ We gave it a wash since the photos were taken earlier today when we brought the bike home. The chrome is in pretty decent shape and the bike cleaned up pretty nicely I couldn't find any dents or dings anywhere. The tires are shot, the handlebars are aftermarket I'm pretty sure, and I don't know about the exhaust if they are original or not. I'm going to offer the bike to the highest bidder with no reserve. Feel free to ask any questions but don't expect the best answer. I just don't know that much about these bikes. I purchased the Tiger from the second owner who when he bought the bike in 1985 failed to ever transfer the title into his name. So what we have is a title from the State of Washington, still in the orginal owners name, signed and dated 1985 in the guys I bought it from. He provided a bill of sale explaining the title situation to me that I will pass on to the new buyer. Please, please, please be sure that you have the money to purchase the bike if you are bidding. All the inspections must be done before the auction closes. Keep in mind that this classic bike is over 44 years old. Please remember that things always seem to look better in pictures. So you are more than welcome to come see it in person, and if you are not sure, please don’t bid. As I am expressing how I see the vehicle. Your bid is your contract. Please place bids only if you are serious about buying the item. If you have the winning bid, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase the item. We require a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after the bidding closes, and the remaining balance within a week. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. All of this being said please take a look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. Or come by and check it out in person before you bid. The bike will be sold as is, with no warranty or guarantee. We reserve the right to cancel any bid for excessive negative feedback. And I may also advertise it locally
