For sale is my 1984 Jaguar Vanden Plas. The 84 Jaguar is in very good mechanical condition, starts right up and runs very smoothly. Here is what I have done: Repaired the sun roof and replaced the sunroof motor. Replaced the engine thermostat, sparkplugs, coil, fuel pump and filter, tank switching valve, fuel pressure regulator. Cleaned and adjusted the distributor. A/C and fans don't work. New front rotors and brake pads, new rear brake pads, front end alignment. Changed oil and filter. Brand new paint job(original color) and all body work done. No rust at all. Replaced both fuel tank senders and fuel gauge works for both tanks. Four almost new tires and spare.( Note 6/18/11 --- I just noticed that the front tires have worn irregularly due to worn rack bushings and tierods.) New alternator New Diode Pack (Red) Car needs interior redone to bring it up to snuff, a new rack mount kit and perhaps tie rod ends and A/C and fans need fixed. I have new headliner material still in box with adhesive and directions. Partsgeek has tierod ends for $24.98 apiece and steering rack mount kit for $20.94. All of this is easy to install.
