This is a very nice 1971 Cadillac Eldorado. LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! VERY VERY NICE!! The original 500cu motor and tranny were rebuilt less then 5K ago and runs great and shifts SMOOTH. The top was replaced less then a year ago. The seats have been redone about a year ago along with the carpet.It was painted about 2 years ago with a 2 stage paint job (primer, base coat and CLEAR coat) not one one those cheap MACCO style single stage paint jobs when its all mixed together. Newer tires, new power steering pump, thermostat, breaks, plugs and wires, front bushings, new weatherstripping, alternator, starter and.....ALOT MORE!!! The power seats work great so do all 4 window moters. The rear driverside door panel is loose and at times the back rear window will need guiding going up or it will not line up with the top (a broken clip in the door pannel is to blame Its a $3 part on ebay and it will take about 15mins to fix) The heater works and the air blows (not very cold) but im pretty sure its just a recharge. The convert top motor works and the top will go up and down. ITS A GREAT GREAT CAR!!!! Its not perfect, but ITS REAL REAL REAL NICE!!!!! The NADA price guide on this is $13500 in good condition and $27000 in excellent. This would fall in the middle, more towards the excellent side. Check that out (NADAGUIDES.com) My INS has said it has a replacement cost of $25000. I have recently taken this car on a 4 day 800 mile trip without problems and I drive it about 4 days a week.
