Selling our "little 2" after owning it for many great years. We bought the car in 1996 from a guy who had tears in his eyes as we drove off - we'll probably do the same. He pampered the car and so have we - always garaged. When we bought the car it has 89k miles on it. Here's some of the basics: MOTOR 4-Cyl. Automatic Transmission 113,868 Original Miles. Re-built Engine at 80k miles (have receipts.) Have all receipts from 1991 when mechanical and cosmetic reconditioning was done Runs perfectly, as it has been well maintained. I wouldn’t hesitate to take this car on a road trip or depend on it as a daily driver. BODY Repainted in 1991 with the original BMW white. Garaged so still paint looks great. There are a couple of small areas of cosmetic rust and a few minor scratches. It has all its badges and the chrome and rubber are very nice. Sunroof is solid; the seal has been replaced, as has the opening/closing mechanism. BMW Wheels. Toyo Tires in great shape ready to provide many more miles. INTERIOR The interior is dark navy and black. Seats are the original upholstery and in good condition. Driver seat leans slightly to the right. The dash has a small crack—don’t they all? The carpet has been replaced along with the pedal rubber and floor mats.All gauges are in working order. Heater, fan, defrost, wipers, signals, lights, hazard all work. Clarion Tuner/CD Player with Clarion speakers. Security Alarm (disconnected to save battery power since I’m not driving often.) VEHICLE CONDITION This truly is a great looking and running car. This is the kind of car that people will stop you on the street to compliment it or ask if they can look inside. We’re selling this beauty because we no longer have the garage space to store it, as it deserves. Even after being stored all winter it’ll start right up and drive well.
